Music

For me, music is second only to Twilight and my family. And air and water obviously.

My music is the soundtrack to my world, my lyrics the diary to my life.

Music is a beautiful thing, and a wondrous creation. I honestly don't know what I would do if I couldn't wake up to my Smiggle alarm clock playing tunes, get ready to playlists on my iPod, dance to music at parties, hum to the radio in the car, hold concerts in front of the mirrors to rockin' songs. Music brings a spark whenever life's dark.

When I'm sad, I shove in my headphones and ignore the world. There's something about letting music wash over you, like water on the beach, calming you, clearing the waters of your mind that just soothes you.

And then there's the party music, the kind that gets you up on your feet, pumped up and ready to take on the world, dancing. There are so many genres of music. There's:

With so much, I honestly don't know what to say! I guess I'm kind of a 'pop princess', but I'm also a 'country cat'. It's too hard to pick favorites, I love all kinds of music!

Cultural, traditional and religious music are all also a huge part of life, because they are full of meaning and like all songs, each one tells an important story. They play a big role in the world and are important for ceremonies. A part of everyday life, this type of music is just as awesome as other kinds of music, full of meaning and important messages.

Music, I can relate to. Music stays the same even when people and relationships break, change and form. Music is my life, it's my passion and it brings me joy. It's kind of just joy, and happiness and heartbreak, and love, and parties, and fun and games and adventure mixed up into verses and choruses full of soul. Music is everything life is and more.

It gets me up when I am down, it spins my whole day around. Music calms me, pumps me up, makes me forget me worries, helps me think, yeah - I'm so glad it's around, because music is truly brilliant, amazing and full of meaning.

At the moment the music I'm rockin out to is What does the fox say, I think about you, Roar, Royals, Wide Awake and Sweet as Fiction. I like artists such as Ross Lynch and Taylor Swift. Who's following the XFactor Australia right now? Go Taylor! Jai, Dami and Third Degree rock too.
